OMNI Business Systems/Solutions Statement on business operations during the COVID-19 outbreak
OMNI Business Systems/Solutions continues to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic as a part of our corporate and community responsibility.
By following the advice of Government and Health Professionals we will take an informed decision as to which level of our Contingency and Continuity of Operations plans to put into effect.
Since mid-March, OMNI has successfully remained fully operational and fully staffed, while allowing all of our employees to work in a remote environment. All of our systems have operated without flaw and our customers continue to receive the same high-level of support that they have become accustomed to over the decades.
OMNI is now in the planning stages of a phased return to in-office operations. The timing of this will be largely based on local, state, and federal guidance, as well as guidance from the CDC. In preparation, all locations have sufficient inventories of gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer. For more information and updates, please see our News and Events Page.
OMNI Business Systems Technician Guidance
The safety and health of our employees and customers is OMNI’s #1 priority. Below is guidance that we have given our technicians regarding their field service during this COVID-19 outbreak.
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use a 70% or better alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Maintain social distancing, recommended is 1 meter
- Avoid shaking hands but acknowledge others with gestures such as a head nod or wave
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
- Wear latex gloves on every service call, and properly dispose of after each call
- Clean device exteriors before and after performing maintenance using an alcohol-based cleaner
- Communicate with your customers at the completion of each service call letting them know that you have wiped down the machine with an alcohol based cleaner
- Stay home if you feel sick or show any signs of the virus. Contact your doctor and follow their guidance
